At Federico Stefanovich, all pieces are handcrafted in collaboration with skilled local workshops.

By purchasing or using any of our products, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Orders & Payment

Production begins once the required down payment has been received. The remaining balance must be paid in full before shipment.

Because each piece is made to order, confirmed orders may not be changed, cancelled, or refunded once production has begun, unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Federico Stefanovich.

2. Handmade Characteristics

All Federico Stefanovich products are handcrafted in collaboration with skilled local workshops. Natural variations in alignment, verticality, leveling, geometry, finish, texture, tone, patina, and assembly are inherent to the handmade production process and are not considered defects.
These variations are part of the character of each piece and may differ slightly from photographs, samples, or previously produced pieces.

3. Shipping, Delivery & Inspection

The purchaser is responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information and for complying with any customs or courier requirements. Import duties, taxes, and other charges applicable at destination are the responsibility of the purchaser unless otherwise stated in writing.

The shipment must be unpacked and carefully inspected within five (5) calendar days of delivery. Any transportation damage discovered upon delivery or during unpacking must be reported to Federico Stefanovich in writing within this same five (5) day period.

All original packaging must be retained. The purchaser must provide photographs of the packaging, the product before removal from the crate, any damaged areas, and the shipping labels, as well as photographs or video of the unpacking process whenever possible.

Failure to inspect the shipment, report damage, or provide the required documentation within five (5) calendar days of delivery may prevent the carrier from accepting a transportation damage claim.

Transportation damage claims are separate from manufacturing defects covered by the product warranty.

4. Installation & Use

Installation services are not included unless expressly stated in writing.

All electrical fixtures must be installed by a qualified and licensed electrician or lighting professional in accordance with the installation instructions provided, applicable electrical codes, and local regulations.

The purchaser is responsible for all installation costs and coordination. Damage resulting from improper installation, assembly, adjustment, handling, modification, use, or maintenance is not covered by the warranty.

5. Warranty

The product is covered by a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects, beginning on the date of delivery.

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, assembly or handling, negligence, impacts, misuse, normal wear and tear, unauthorized modifications, structural stress, chemical cleaning products, unsuitable replacement components, or exposure to weather conditions.

Natural variations resulting from the handmade production process are not considered manufacturing defects.

6. Bulbs & Replacement Components

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the replacement of light bulbs and other consumable components is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Federico Stefanovich is not responsible for damage or performance issues resulting from the use of incompatible or unsuitable replacement bulbs or components.

7. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Mexico. Any dispute arising from the purchase or use of the product shall be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico City, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

By confirming an order, the purchaser acknowledges having read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
