At Federico Stefanovich, all pieces are handcrafted in collaboration with skilled local workshops.
By purchasing or using any of our products, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Handcrafted Nature of the Work
All pieces are made by hand. Natural variations in tone, texture, patina, surface finish, alignment, verticality, leveling, and overall geometry are inherent to the artisanal process and materials.These variations are not considered defects. Each piece is unique by nature.
2. Production and Payment

Production time begins once the downpayment is received.

A 65 percent downpayment is required to place an order.

The remaining balance must be paid before the piece is shipped.

Once the order is placed, changes, cancellations, and refunds are not permitted.
3. Warranty
Our pieces include a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects only.
The warranty does not cover:

Improper installation
-
Manipulation, forced adjustments, or on-site handling
-
Negligence or impacts
-
Chemical cleaning products
-
Improper use
-
Wear and tear
-
Alterations
-
Climate exposure
Handmade variations described above are not considered manufacturing defects.
4. Installation Requirements
All pieces must be installed by a qualified and licensed electrician or a trained lighting professional.
Any damage, misalignment, electrical issues, structural stress, or failures caused by improper installation or handling are not covered by the warranty.
5. Shipping, Delivery, and Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for:

Providing a complete and correct shipping address

Being available to receive the package

Paying import duties, taxes, or customs fees

Completing any courier or customs requirements
If the client does not complete these steps and the package is returned to Mexico, all reshipping costs, storage fees, taxes, and courier charges are the client’s responsibility. We are not liable for delays caused by customs, weather, strikes, courier handling, or lack of response from the client.
6. Damage Upon Delivery
Upon delivery, the client must inspect the external packaging and the condition of the item before signing.
If there is visible damage, the client must:

Report it within 24 hours

Photograph the damage, packaging, and tracking label

Keep all original packaging
If these steps are not followed, we cannot process claims for transport-related damage.
7. Applicable Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico City. Any dispute will be submitted to its competent courts.
8. Updates
We may update these terms at any time. Changes are effective upon publication on this page
